Our obsession with Three Jerks began the moment we opened up a bag of their seriously juicy filet mignon beef jerky. Former college roommates and longtime friends Daniel Fogelson and Jordan Barrocas were tired of being disappointed by the American jerky market, so they taught themselves the art of jerky-making (jerkying?). They not only ran a beyond-successful Kickstarter campaign, but were also featured on ABC's "Shark Tank"!
We're so glad to have three incredible tenderloin jerkies that actually get us excited to hit that afternoon slump. The big argument around Mouth HQ is which bag is the best. There's the original recipe, packed with meaty flavor and subtle garlic. Some insist on the unexpected, sweet-tangy fusion of Filipino adobo and Mexican chipotle sauces. Still others think the just-spicy-enough Memphis BBQ dry rub is the way to go.
